Luminesco was proud to collaborate with contemporary artist Sequin Kay and Studio 55 Ibiza on Presence, a major exhibition exploring light, perception and the power of sustained attention.

Curated by Daphne Jäckel, Presence brought together a new body of work created using thousands of individually hand-set Swarovski crystals. Through meticulous craftsmanship and the transformative qualities of light, the exhibition invited visitors to slow down, look longer and experience art in a more contemplative way.

As part of the exhibition, Luminesco illuminated two artworks by Sequin Kay — All the Tears I Cannot Cry and Genesis Coin. Presented using Luminesco's bespoke illuminated art frame technology, the works were enhanced through carefully controlled, museum-quality illumination that revealed additional depth, texture, colour and luminosity.

The collaboration extended the exhibition's exploration of light as both material and experience, demonstrating how integrated illumination can transform the way artwork is perceived while preserving the integrity of the original piece.

Held at Studio 55 Ibiza, Presence attracted collectors, designers, architects and art enthusiasts from around the world, generating valuable conversations and new opportunities while showcasing the potential of light to deepen our connection with art.
